Fitrah Way of Birth
Mentorship

This 1:1 mentorship was created for the Muslimah who seeks to return to the natural, undisturbed, and deeply spiritual design of childbirth: the way of tawakkul.
The Muslimah who seeks to step away from the fear-based, over-medicalized approach to birth and return to the traditional, natural way at home.
For the Muslimah who wants guidance to experience pregnancy, birth and motherhood as acts of devotion and worship to Allah through giving birth at home, in it’s most raw and natural form, and truly embracing the natural design of Allah.
Birth is not merely something your body goes through, it is something your heart is brought through.
When you are preparing to give birth, you are standing at a threshold. A place where your trust in Allah, your patience, your surrender, and your certainty are all tested in a very real and embodied way. You may believe deeply in Allah’s decree, yet still feel the weight of what is coming. The intensity. The responsibility. The vulnerability of being in labor and knowing that you will meet it with nothing but your body, your du‘a, and your reliance upon Him.
This is where many women feel alone.
Not because they lack “information”, but because they long for their hearts to feel steady. They want to be reminded of Allah when they feel afraid. They want someone who understands both the reality of labor and the reality of preserving one’s iman. Someone who can actually guide them in a holistic and embodied way. Someone who can sit with them in that space and help them remain anchored when the mind begins to waver and the body begins to open.
This is what this mentorship is for.
It exists to support you in preparing for birth with practical, real birth knowledge so you feel prepared and confident giving birth at home with a heart that is calm, present, and surrendered to Allah.
I walk with you through this season so that you are not carrying its weight alone, offering specialized guidance, companionship, information, and beneficial reminders.
This is not standard prenatal coaching or generic doula teachings, or a collection of techniques or a checklist of things “to do”…
This is a sisterly companionship. One that is rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, the understanding of the Salaf, and the natural design Allah created for pregnancy and birth.
Today, many women fear birth. They see frightening interventions and unnecessary procedures. They witness abuse, neglect, and coercion within hospital systems. Many are terrified of pregnancy itself, or desperately searching for a doctor who will simply treat them with dignity.
But what if the answer is far simpler than you imagined? What if the solution is already in front of you? I personally see the home as the best and most correct environment for birth — especially in our time, when fitan are many and trust in medical institutions is rapidly collapsing.
For the Muslim woman especially, I believe that returning birth to the home is now more necessary than ever before. Knowledge of natural birth is fading out. We are so disconnected from nature that some of us find it hard to believe that a woman could even give birth naturally without any assistance or that a baby could be born totally naturally without any help. Technology is a part of and has infiltrated every aspect of our lives, and for some of us it's all we've ever known depending on how old we are.
That's not to say that all technology is bad or harmful but it just raises the interesting question of how has the heavy reliance on technology and the medicalization of childbirth impacted humanity in the way that we view the natural world? I do personally believe that this is one of the modern factors today as to why many people are not reflecting on the Qur’an as much as they should and why we see many problems in the world today.
Because of such a reliance on technology especially when it comes to childbirth We often will view the natural way as something dangerous or risky. But when we reflect upon the Qur'an and make it our close companion, our knowledge of Allah and who He is would shape our worldview and hearts instead.
The home is a virtuous place for the Muslim woman. It is her sanctuary and the environment in which she worships Allah the best. It is my belief and opinion that birth is not a necessity that requires a woman to leave her home.
In fact, I believe that leaving the home is the first intervention in childbirth, and it introduces unnecessary risk. Remaining at home protects the birthing woman. It creates a gentle, familiar environment that allows birth to unfold naturally, beautifully, and instinctively — exactly as Allah designed it.
My approach to childbirth is outlined through my signature Fitrah Way Method.
The Fitrah is the pure, innate disposition upon which Allah created us — tawheed. I believe that the true essence of birth preparation is preparing the heart and mind, because the body has already been designed perfectly by Allah to give birth.
Birth is an involuntary, natural, physiological organic process — something the body performs without our conscious control. Our role is to cultivate closeness with Allah, to surrender, and to enter the experience with patience, gratitude, knowledge, preparation, and true tawakkul.
The Fitrah Way Method is about preserving the natural physiology of birth by rejecting unnecessary interference and disturbance, and allowing the birth to unfold as an act of devotional worship. It is built upon: seeking beneficial knowledge wholesome, traditional nourishment nurturing trust in the natural design cultivating patience and gratitude and grounding the heart firmly upon pure tawakkul.
Knowing Allah is the foundation of true birth preparation, because everything is in His hands and under His complete control and perfect knowledge. Following this is knowledge of how the natural, normal process of birth actually works and how to support it. By learning this truth, you automatically begin to unlearn the lies and deception of the Western medical system, and you realize the extent of its harms done to women and babies during pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
This core foundation — knowing Allah, loving Him, and trusting Him — is truly at the heart of childbirth and cultivating true tawakkul, it begins with loving Allah through knowing Him and making Him the center of our lives. Obedience to Him and remaining firm on the Straight Path is the spiritual anchor that transforms birth into worship, and fear into tranquility.
Alongside spiritual transformation, and deeper inner work (resolving victim mentality and living in curiosity and acceptance), we will cover tangible, practical topics related to pregnancy and birth: the essentials: proper nutrition inspired by the Sunnah and ancestral way of eating, navigating ultrasounds, blood pressure, blood sugar, palpation, listening to your baby, all of the things women typically outsource to the medical system.. we will reel back in. We will prepare for the arrival of your baby in the most gentle, natural and holistic way following closely as possible to the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah.
I am also present with you during your labor and birth, offering calm, protective, spiritually grounded support. Not to direct you, but to guard your space, to remind you of Allah when contractions intensify, and to help you remain in a state of remembrance and surrender.
After birth, you are supported by me in the early postpartum days as you heal, breastfeed, and process the experience, with gentleness and reflection.
This mentorship is for you if you desire a birth rooted in authentic Islamic teachings, not in fear based medical culture.
If you want your pregnancy and labor to be a time of spiritual refinement, not just physical preparation. If you long for a companion who will help you remain steady, patient, and connected to Allah when the moment comes.
This is not for the woman who wants her birth managed, directed, or controlled by another.
It is not for those seeking a clinical or procedural approach.
It is for the woman who wants her heart protected, her space honored, and her trust in Allah strengthened.
It is for the woman who wants to walk into birth knowing she is not alone, and knowing that she will be reminded, gently and firmly, that Allah is with her in every wave, every contraction, and every moment that brings her child into her arms.
